It was a compromising position, sure; but Marc wasn't bothered. At least, not as much as the angel under him was.
He'd somehow talked him into needing to play silly little games like Candyland and Chutes and Ladders, not that he fully understood them at first. But then the mischievous side kicked in and Marc found himself the game Twister buried under things in a closet.
And it was a game that Cathal seemed to pick up. Though, they only made it through a few spins of the spinner since all limbs were tied up. Cathal almost sitting with legs and arms keeping him up and Marc, who'd cleverly chosen where to put his hands and feet after he watched the angel move.
It was how he was hovering over him, a sly grin on his face. Winning wasn't something Marc was worried about since he didn't want to truly play in the first place. He let his arms tremble slightly as he said, "I don't think I can stay up much longer, Cath."
"Maybe ye can--"
Trying hadn't been in the cards anymore so Marc dropped, falling onto the angel who ended up with his back against the floor with a small sound.
"Sorry Cath," he said, trying to feign some innocence.
And it seemed to work because Cathal responded by saying, "S'long as yer alright."
His brow raised, wondering how far he could run with the comment from the other. "Well, I..." Playing innocent always seemed to work the trick, so Marc was sticking to it. He shook his head, frowning.
"What is it?"
Marc rose up slightly, only to mouth over the angel's neck suddenly and let out a warm breath. "I got all these pent up feelings and I just..." He trailed off, letting out a soft moan by Cath's ear.
Under him, Cathal stilled. He figured the other didn't know how to respond, what to say or do. So he pushed more and trailed fingers up over his arms. Marc made another soft sound and said, "Help me with them, angel. I'd be so grateful."
He watched the angel swallow and knew for a fact he'd struck his nerves somewhere along the way. Marc masked the glee he was feeling with a hopeful expression baring down at Cathal.
"I can't. I don't know how," Cathal stated, brow creasing.
"It's okay. I'll show you," Marc told him with a hint of a smirk surfacing on his features.
Almost twenty minutes of sweet talking the angel and nearly seeing him disappear twice? Marc finally had him right where he wanted. In his bed and mostly void of clothes. Cathal was still putting up a fight on that end.
"Just like last time. You take off your pants and I'll take mine off, too," Marc said carefully.
"But--"
He silenced the other with his lips, fingers dancing over the skin of a torso he was finally seeing without a shirt. Marc drew back, stroking Cath's jaw gently. "Please, my angel?"
Cathal, still with the worried expression stuck on his face, seemed to blush a shade of red but nodded slowly. Marc gave words of praise the whole time, keeping his amusement that he was getting his own little show from the shy creature to himself.
"See, they're just legs," Marc commented, stripping out of his quickly and crawling back to Cathal's side. A devious glint rose in his eyes and he asked, "Now how about these?" Of course, his fingers were plucking at the boxers the other wore.
"Tha's too much."
"But Cath," Marc said, giving a small whine. He let his breath pick up and stole Cathal's hand to press against his chest by his heart. "I'm not kidding when I say I could explode from my feelings." It wasn't entirely accurate, but the angel didn't need to know that.
The worry seemed to deepen and Cath eyed Marc before lowering his eyes. The hound wasn't sure what that meant, so he prodded some.
"I'm sorry, Cath. I just...I thought you wanted to help me get it out. I thought you'd understand." He shook his head, frowning and turning away. All Marc wanted was for him to take this one last bait. It was all he'd need.
A few moments passed in silence. Frankly, Marc was almost sure that the angel had disappeared; that he'd look over his shoulder and find himself alone in the room. It wouldn't be the first time anyways.
So when he turned and saw a beet red Cathal sitting with piercing blue eyes locked on him, Marc brightened a touch. He sunk teeth into his lip from breaking out in laughter, from excitement winning out that he finally had him exactly where he wanted the other creature.
